Caiyuanba Yangzte River Bridge consists of main bridge, Cainyuanba Flyover, Nancheng Tunnel and Nancheng Flyover. Rigid frame combined with basket-handle-shaped steel box arch and steel truss are adopted in the main bridge. Length of the main span is 420m, and the total length of the bridge is 4,780.5m.

The bridge was commenced in December 2003 and is expected to be completed in 2007.
