Dashengguan yangtze River Bridge in Nanjing has been closured on 28th September. This bridge is the first high-speed railway river crossing bridge in China. Since then, the new record of the largest loading, the highest speed and the largest span in the bridge world history has been refreshed.

The bridge length of 9.3 kilometers, Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge is the first six-lane track railway bridge in China also is the largest loading high-speed railway bridge. This bridge is arranged six- lane, there are: Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway dual-lane, Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu railway dual-lane and Nanjing Metro dual-lane, including 300km/hr of Beijing-shanghai high-speed railway. The main bridge is double continuous steel truss girder and continuous steel truss arch bridge of six spans, navigation clearance up to 32 meters.
